sosa :: bachelorette party

Vegas…it’s where all the best bachelor/bachelorette parties take place. So, when Sosa decided to get married, there may have been much debate on where to take her vows, but there was no question on where she would be partying with her best gal pals. Sosa is one of the most stylish women I know and the hotel she chose was simply perfect…The Cosmopolitan! Her suite was all decked out in hot pink and black. The Evite requested that everyone wear black tutu’s. I have to say, it was the most adorable thing ever. Other bachelorette parties that were going on at the same time had a bit of envy in their eyes when this brides entourage walked by. It was clear that Sosa and her ladies made an impression. It was an amazing evening, full of laughter, singing and dancing. I had the best time and want to congratulate Sosa and Bill on their upcoming wedding in Mexico. Best wishes for a lifetime of happiness and most of all laughter. Sosa, you are truly going to be a stunning bride…try your best to share that spotlight with your wonderful groom. I Love You!

Stacey + Dennis :: Wedding

2012 has been a truly amazing year and I wanted to close it out with a very special wedding of course! Stacey and Dennis were married in Laguna Beach, CA on November 16, 2012. I had the honor of being asked to be their photographer and I was so thrilled. They are a beautiful couple with such a great group of friends and family. From the moment I stepped into the bridal suite, I was instantly in love with all of her maids. Stacey was the most relaxed bride I have ever seen. You would never know she was about to get married. After much debate, they decided to go ahead and do a first look before the wedding. Stacey said this really helped calm her nerves…but she knows how to hide her nervousness, because she didn’t seem the least bit nervous. Their son Aiden was the best little ring bearer ever. Talk about a well-behaved little man, he served his title well. They took their vows at Tivoli Terrace, which I have to say was whimsically breathtaking. It was a beautiful wedding, lots of fun and a whole lot of love. Congratulations Stacey & Dennis!

Special thanks to Marco Soriano of M Studioarts for being my second shooter and providing their fantastic Photobooth experience! You can view all their photobooth photos at: Dennis&Stacey

Shoes: Lauren James & Steve Madden
Dress: Maggie Sottero
Rings: Nuggets & Carats
Venue: Tivoli Terrace
Garters: Who Made That Bow Designs
Hotel: Pacific Edge

This next photo needs some explaining…you see Aiden has this obsession with spiders. And he thought it would be a great idea to put about fifty fake spiders into his Mommy’s purse. So, she had to show some love to her son’s favorite creature.

I LOVE this girl!!!!

Bethany + Corey :: Wedding

Bethany and Corey met here in Las Vegas, NV. They started out as just roommates. With the rough economy, it seemed like a good idea to split the rent, even if they were just strangers. Soon after they moved in together, Corey began doing sweet friendly gestures for Bethany. Their love only blossomed from there. What girl doesn’t love coming home from a long day at work to huge bouquets of flowers? Corey was ever the romantic. His main goal everyday was to make sure Bethany always had a reason to smile. In October of 2009, Corey gave her the most precious gift in the entire world…Isabella “Bella” Brooklyn. Corey spared no expense when it came to Bethany’s pregnancy, he gave her the best concierge doctor that money could buy, made sure she was as comfortable as possible the entire pregnancy and let her buy anything and everything pink in the entire world for their little Princess. When Bella arrived, their hearts knew there was one last step to take…marriage. Now, Bethany did not make things easy for poor Corey. She played hard to get like a champ! Eventually, Bethany stopped fighting the inevitable and surrendered her heart to the man who has loved her unconditionally for the past four years.

Since they met in Las Vegas, it seemed only fitting that they get married in true Vegas fashion. Bethany, Corey and Bella, flew from their home in Ohio for the big celebration, with about 25 of their closest friends. They exchanged vows at Viva Las Vegas, and were married by a man who kind of resembled Elvis Presley. Once they said their “I do’s”, we all climbed into a huge monster limo truck and headed over to the The Cosmopolitan on the Las Vegas Strip. If you have never been inside The Cosmopolitan, it’s like a cross between modern and retro. So, any of you out there who know me well, knows that this hotel is just my style. I love it! We had dinner at 9ine Steakhouse in The Palms and closed this party down with a little VIP service in the Ghost Bar. This wedding was 100% Vegas and was lovingly coordinated by the lovely Bethany. Who also took a few hints from Etsy.com and did a few DIY projects for her special day. No detail was overlooked with this woman in charge, she is amazing.

 Best 2nd shooter I ever had!
