Christina :: Portrait

Meet Christina. She’s funny, adventurous, witty and loves a challenge. This portrait session was a good way to show that there is more to this girl than meets the eye. Her Mother and Sister attended the shoot, and they were the best cheer squad ever. I love when I show a picture just seconds after I shoot it and see the happiness and joy on a mother’s face…it seriously gives me goosebumps. This photo session was part of a project of sorts…I can’t tell you what it is, because it really isn’t my secret to tell…let’s just say that it is one that we hope will eventually end with wedding bells!!!

Until next time…xoxo~p

hannah :: portrait

I was thrilled when Hannah’s Mom asked me if I could do a portrait session with her daughter again. If you remember, I did Hannah’s Senior portraits and now she’s ready take on the world. I am pretty sure that one day she will become a video game designer. You would think that the video gaming industry would only appeal to a guy, but she has such a love and passion for it that she could do amazing things in that field. I think of her as the girl on that movie “Grandma’s Boy” (love that movie by the way). She is a talent and a force to be reckoned with. Watch out boys…Hannah is making strides to take your job! Or she could just become a big time music mogul…so many options…so much time! Good Luck Hannah, your future is going to be so bright!

Until next time…xoxo~p

love :: michelle + kyle

Happy New Year and welcome to 2012! I wanted to start my year off right with a darling couple whom I just adore and love. Michelle and Kyle came all the way from beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii to celebrate their holiday season. They have been married 8 1/2 years and decided it was time to have a photo shoot to celebrate their love. Our day began with a perfect french breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi. If you have never eaten there, it’s a must. You really feel like you are at a cafe in Paris. After breakfast we hit the Las Vegas Strip. I think the best part about this photo shoot was that they felt so famous like the “paparazzi” was following them around. They were such a fun couple to hang out with and I am really hopeful that they come back soon and perhaps celebrate their 10 years of wedded bliss in 2013 in pure Las Vegas Style by renewing their wedding vows. Who doesn’t LOVE a little Las Vegas wedding chapel complete with Elvis? I know I do!

holiday :: McCaulley Family

It’s finally the week of Christmas, and that means time with family, gift giving and creating memories. I am so pleased to share this holiday family session with all of you because they are truly a family that not only love and cherish one another, but they know how to have FUN! If you didn’t know, Vegas is COLD this time of year, so I think the mixture of that and the giddy-ness of the holidays made this crew extra fun to be around. Enjoy!

Every Mom should be this Awesome!!!!

I love this photo…daughters can be so sweet!

Merry Christmas McCaulley Family!

anniversary :: patti + kirk

Twenty years ago, George H. W. Bush was our President. Terminator 2: Judgement Day, The Silence of the Lambs, Father of the Bride and Beauty and the Beast were in theaters. The average cost of gas per gallon was $1.12, a dozen eggs cost 85 cents, the average income was $29,430 per year….but more importantly Patti & Kirk McCleary tied the knot! These two are an amazing couple that I had the honor of photographing to commemorate their 20 year wedding anniversary. We had such fun trying to navigate through all the old Las Vegas signs at the Neon Boneyard. Patti and Kirk could not be more in love, they really hit the “Jackpot”. Congratulations Patti and Kirk. Cheers to the next 20 years of wedded bliss!!!!
